Edible Academy: Insectary Gardens Lunch and Learn

Saturday, December 5, 9:30am - 1:00pm (3CPE) $20

What: A virtual garden workshop that’s buzzing with the amazing world of beneficial insects! Join us on Zoom for “Insectary Gardens: Nature’s Pest Control.”

Learn to create pocket insectaries at your home or school gardens to attract beneficial insects. Network with other participants during lunch, then watch a tasty seasonal recipe demo by Chef Kellie.

Who: Classroom Teachers, Garden Educators, Homeschool Parents, Garden Coordinators, Past Edible Academy Participants

Where: Virtually on Zoom

Presenters: Carol Burton, Director of Garden Education; Angela Chandler, Certified Garden Specialist; Kellie Karavias, Director of the Cultivated Classroom
