Are you interested in starting a school or community garden? Are you part of an existing community garden and interested in building your volunteer base and increase involvement in the garden? This info session will go over ways you can build your community garden network in today's landscape. Join Meagan Terry and Debbie Gordon from Westbury Community Garden, as they answer frequently asked questions, and take questions from viewers in a live Zoom meeting.

Meagan Terry, Community Gardens Manager

Meagan holds a master’s degree in International Agricultural Development from UC Davis and studied Sociology as an undergraduate student. Meagan has worked in Latin America and the US with farmers and on small farms with a focus on sustainable vegetable production. She is currently the Community Gardens Manager with Urban Harvest and is excited about being part of the local food system movement in Houston.


Debbie Gordon, Westbury Community Garden Member

Debbie Gordon joined the Westbury Community Garden in 2013. She served as WCG Vice President for two years, and is currently the Community Outreach Chair, as well as being active in writing grants. Debbie works full time for a medical software company.
